Rivermont Farm has been in the boarding business since 2002. Rivermont relocated to Ocala, Florida in May of 2017 on a beautiful, lush 20 acres that's only 4 miles from the HITS show grounds and 4 miles from the all new World Equestrian Center.
The new farm has a gated entrance as well as all new 4 board fencing with no climb wire for added security and safety. Rivermont has large, lush pastures as well as several turnout paddocks. We have a grass jump field as well as a new 60' roundpen with sand footing. Outside trainers are welcome. We also offer trailering services. Our new barn offers 12' x 14' stalls with automatic waterers, stall mattresses in each stall, Lucas Equine stalls, rubber pavers in the hallway, a Shoo-Fly system to help eliminate bugs, a washrack, tack room and much more. We are currently building a 6 stall Morton barn complete with air conditioned tack room, feed room, foaling stall and a wash stall. We feed Buckeye feeds and a variety of quality hay.
All of the horses on the farm are personally cared for by Ashley Godwin, and she treats each and every horse as through they were her own. Very limited spaces are available.
We use Peterson and Smith Veterinary Clinic and have a team of exceptional veterinarians. You can sleep soundly knowing your horse is with us getting around the clock care. To read more about Ashley Godwin, click here.
Pasture board includes:
Quality grain 2 x per day customized to the needs of the horse.
Turnout in a lush, fertilized pasture with huge oaks for wonderful shade.
Quality grass or alfalfa hay in the winter or as needed.
Salt blocks
Supplements added to grain. (owner provides)
Fly spraying, fly mask and fly sheets. (owner provides)
Blanketing in winter.
Holding for vet and farrier appointments
$850.00 per month
If a stall is needed on an occasional basis, $25.00 additional per day.
Our full service stall board will include:
12' x 14' stall mattress matted stall w/ auto water.
Quality grain 2 x per day customized to the needs of the horse w/ supplements added (owner provides supplements)
Orchard alfalfa hay
Daily turnout either in a group or individual.
Stalls picked at least 2 x per day with fresh shavings.
Fans in each stall.
Shoo Fly system in both barns.
Hold horse for vet and farrier appointments.
Blanketing as needed in winter.
Night check every evening.
$1200.00 per month
Lunging or working in round pen: $15.00 per session
Thorough grooming or bath: $10.00
Trailering: $1.50 per loaded mile. Minimum fee $65.00 if less than 40 miles.
Trailering to and from HITS and WEC are also available. ($65.00 round trip to either venue)
Deworming to be billed at actual cost.
My goal is to care for and grow happy, winning, sound race and show horses. I feed only the best grain and hay money can buy and will provide care for your horse as if they were my own. I’m a firm believer in good nutrition. Thank you for trusting your horse with us.
