We currently do not have any puppies available however we should have some litters come later this fall so please check back often!
FAQ: What has my puppy been eating? Your puppy has been eating (free choice) Wholesomes Puppy which is available at Tractor Supply and Chewy. We will send a small zip lock bag of food home with your puppy so if you choose to feed something else, just mix the food we send with the food of your choice to help the puppy transition over to the new diet. We recommend doing this over 3 or 4 days.
Once our dogs are 8 or 9 months old we switch them over to Wholesomes Fish.

Adopting a Rivermont Puppy:
Jack Russell puppies are AKC or NKC registered and Corgis are AKC or CKC registered. Puppies will head home with 2 sets of vaccines, current deworming, a microchip and a health exam/certificate from our vet. Our puppies are well socialized from birth. They are born in our home and remain there until they are old enough to move to our kennel, however they are played with daily until the time for them to head to their new families.
Tails are docked and dew claws removed when they are 3 days old. Once your deposit is paid and your pick is made, we will send regular photo and video updates so you can see your puppy grow and play! We typically ask that puppy picks be made by the time the puppies are around 3 to 4 weeks of age.
Jack Russell pups are $1800 and Corgi pricing varies on each litter and type of registration (starting at $1800-$2500) but pricing will be on the ad for the available puppy. Limited registration simply means the dog may not be bred and is being sold as “pet only”. Rivermont reserves the right to have first pick of each litter, as occasionally we do keep pups to continue our favorite lines. Deposits are non-refundable however you may move your deposit to another litter should you not find your perfect puppy in the litter you are waiting on. PLEASE UNDERSTAND WE CANNOT HOLD A PUPPY UNTIL A DEPOSIT HAS BEEN PAID.
Your puppy will have had a 5 way vaccine at 6 and 8 weeks of age. We begin deworming them at 2 weeks and maintain a regular deworming program until they leave at 8 weeks. We HIGHLY recommend you do NOT take your puppy to public places (dog parks, stores, etc) until after the 3rd set of vaccines which are done around 12-15 weeks of age by your veterinarian. Puppies are still developing their immune system and you want to be extra careful to keep your baby safe! For this reason, per the advice of our vet, we do not allow visitors to our kennel until it is time to pick up your puppy. We will be happy to FaceTime you, send plenty of videos and photos, but the safety of our dogs and puppies is our number one priority, and the less traffic that comes through the safer everyone is. Thank you for understanding! We absolutely love our puppy customers and can't wait to meet you on puppy pick up day!
If you need transport to another state we can put you in contact with a flight nanny or a ground transport company who does a wonderful job! Or, you're welcome to pick up here at the farm!
AKC puppies will come with a FREE 30 day health insurance policy that you may choose to continue after 30 days. All you need to do is activate the form we will send with your puppy. We highly recommend health insurance on puppies as it’s not expensive and it sure will come in handy should an emergency pop up! Our puppy customers have also recommended www.TruPanion.com for their insurance needs. Another recommendation we have is puppy obedience classes to get you and your puppy off to a good start! PetSmart offers these classes weekly and they are fairly inexpensive! Several of our puppy customers have done the PetSmart classes and raved about them!
PAYMENT: To reserve your puppy or your place in line to choose your puppy, we ask for a $250 non-refundable deposit which may be paid via Zelle (706-676-5566), Apple Pay, Cash App ($RivermontFarm) or cash. I’m sorry however we no longer accept personal checks, PayPal or Venmo. We kindly ask the remaining balance of your puppy be paid via cash at day of pickup or Zelle at least 7 days before pickup, or we can accept credit cards the day of pickup however there will be a 2.6% fee added to your balance. If you need another payment option please call or email us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

The deposit is non-refundable, however you may apply it to another puppy later on should you decide to do so.
